Prolific Vancouver producer Pat Lok has established himself as one to watch in 2014. Earlier this year, Pat released an original single “Move Slow,” a mid-tempo soulful house groove with a steamy R&B attitude. Featuring the sultry vocals of fellow Canadian alo, “Move Slow” boasts support from the likes of Karma Kid, Kastle, Moon Boots, Anna Lunoe, & Cassian to name a few. 2 people who took notice were Karl Kling of RAC & Cyclist, who’ve signed Pat’s next single “Needy”, to their newly minted label MANI/PEDI Records.

“Needy” has all of the dance floor sensibilities of Pat’s previous releases, with exquisitely melancholy vocals over a piano-driven house beat that will have you chasing a new unrequited love. The single comes with remixes from Montreal disco house producer Robotaki + Future Classic favorite Ekali. The “Needy” package is out today via MANI/PEDI Records. Grab the radio edit for free below!

I was in a subversive mood and the music followed. 1. Spacemen 3 […]
